1962 Corvette Roadster

Seller tells us this 1962 was a milestone year for Corvette, the first year for the 327 V8, the last year for the solid rear axle. It was the last year a Corvette had a trunk until 1998 and the last year the headlights were exposed until 2005. Two tone paint was no longer offered, this car is finished in it’s original color, Roman Red. This is a rare example of a unrestored road ready Corvette roadster. Original 327/300 hp. Motor. Purchased in Las Vegas, NV nearly four years ago by the current owner, the car has remained in the Las Vegas area until just recently being offer for sale. The car is showing what we believe to be 95k original miles. A numbers correct example.

1968 Porsche Softwindow Targa
Seller tells us Offering a nice driving 1968 Softwindow Targa With original engine and Originally Light Ivory VIN 12870687 This car starts well, drives and steers well and brakes well. I’m told that there are a few thousand miles on the engine rebuild. No receipts to back this up but something better perhaps is the compression test done last week which shows #1 155 #2 160 #3 155 #4 155 Suspension seems up to the task and shows no sloppiness The car has been sitting for a few years but the older couple had the presence of mind to start it occasionally. Hence the car runs strongly and smoothly and only needed fluid changes and a tune up and a jet in one of the carbs. All this was done 50 miles ago. The car does not leak or smoke. Brakes did not work but with a few new brake lines they are now working fine. The 5 Speed Tranny shifts well. The photos and the video I tried to take in such a way that I show you all the flaws of the car. If there is a scratch or a bubble in the paint I tried to show it to you. I believe this car can be driven a good long time until you want to fully restore it. In my opinion this car is a good candidate for restoration. Rust is minimal and the only damage I we can find seems to be limited to the front of the trunk opening. I have taken closeups of this area. The paint has good shine but has some defects showing under the paint. You will see these in the photos. Dash is good. Let me know of any questions. I’ll try to answer them. Sorry I got the car with no history or paperwork. It does have a clean CA title. It is also newly registered until Sept 2012. Showing 91,400 miles.
A very collectible car shown in lousy videos but decent photos. Find it here on eBay with only 2 bids but just listed.

Just in from a 30 year sleep in the very dry Arizona desert. A ’63 Cab with its original engine. It needs full restoration but it is intact and most everything is there as near as I can tell, minus one bumper, one engine grill and the radio. The radio may be in the bottom of one of the boxes which have not been completely unpacked as yet. The Super 90 was the most desirable Cabriole built that year and commands a premium over lesser engined cabs. The car sat for 30 years and I’m told the engine had work done on it and was running 8 years ago. I’ll be bench running the engine in the next week or so to ascertain its needs, if any. Price will be adjusted upward as money is spent on the car of course. VIN 807034 Eng 158170 Color Believed to be Oslo Blue Floor pans have been redone at some point. Rear seat bottoms are solid. Engine bay floor looks solid as do the jack points. The rear portion of the driver doorjamb will need to be replaced. It looks like it was hit at one point. Doors have had rust removed and seem well done. This is a Euro car. It has the original book (in German). This car is now in Costa Mesa CA.
We think the Super 90 is a compelling Cabrio. Even at the Buy It Now there should be room for profit after resto. Find this dusty car here on eBay with early bidding

Owner tells us here is my very rare 1984 MERCEDES BENZ FACTORY WESTFALIA JAMES COOK EDITION CAMPER VAN. It is very low approx. 24,000 miles, it was brought over here in 1984 with a courteson of the French cycling team for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games post game promotion tour around the US for the French cycling team. This van fits in any city meter parking space and is super easy to drive and park. It is all inclusive has 2 queen size beds, stove sink kitchen ,refrigerator, shower, bathroom sink and lots of storage with a 45 gallon fresh water tank. It is diesel and gets great mileage,5 speed stick shift, great for the mountains. It is original paint always garaged and in mechanical perfect condition.Everything works on this vehicle and parts are readily available as this was the same bullet-proof diesel motor on many Mercedes that go for ever, they are work horses with very low maintanence. It has 4 house batteries that let you be in the woods for days with power or hook up a solar panel.

Would never sell ,but no time to enjoy travels these days. This vehicle is ready to tour anywhere and everywhere!!

Stereo is nice with ipod hook up and cd player, Fresh new Michelin tires all the way around, has nice trailer 2 inch socket for bike rack or towing,I have never seen another one of these vans ever in the US,If you buy this be prepared for everyone to ask you about it!

This takes a VW camper to a new level with lots of features of a bigger motor home compacted into a nice size. It would be hard to find an ’84 with this few miles. Find this rare beast here on eBay out of Venice CA with very heavy bidding into the twenties

Owner tell us this is a rare opportunity to own a one of a kind vehicle. a 1983 Porsche 911 Limousine. (it is a 1983 not an 1980) This car was being built for the late Rocky Aoki the owner of the Benihana restaurants. It has a custom 959 body kit. the rear is a Targa. Has very nice custom wheels. The work that went into this car to get it to this stage is amazing. It took 2 Porsche 911′s to create this one of a kind Limo. The doors all work well. the body is very clean. This car needs an engine. You can either get a nice 3. liter Porsche engine or consider a V8 conversion? The interior needs to be completed but already has many custom features. The car rolls and has a Transmission. I can email more pictures. please ask all questions before bidding. buyer pays for all shipping. Great business opportunity. Great Limo for weddings and other events.

Wow. Just think you could start your own limo biz. Aoki’s loss could be your gain. We have a sneaky suspicion that Aoki had no clue this was in the works. Maybe the sink, YES it has a sink, was designed for cooking on the move. Find this beauty here with an incredible 7 bids. Like Chuck says: This is an ass for every seat. It’s already made it to $1k so that leaves out Concours d’LeMons.

He used this as his company car until he retired. It was then re-registered in his name with Zimbabwe Number 281729B on May 5, 1982 and shipped by sea to the USA where it was registered in his wife’s name, Roberta J. Brown under Title Number 8308141014-8 on March 22, 1983. It has no rust and has been in undercover storage each winter. As of September 10, 1994 there was only 2,417 miles added since arriving in Wisconsin.
We think this is about as cool as a vintage Merc sedan gets. We love the sun visor to keep the car cool on those warm African days. Find this beauty here on eBay out of Wisconsin

Seller tells us the rare color combination and options of this T-6 356B make it an outstanding candidate for full restoration. Sunroof Coupe models are quite valuable; and when it’s redone in Smyrna Green with its original luggage, it will be stunning. Both doors and both lids shut well. The gaps are excellent! Exterior and interior are basically complete. It is missing the lower horn grills and the Porsche name badge on rear. It does still have the front and rear drain tubes and wires for the sunroof. All glass is very good. All 6 operable windows work well. It was stored in a garage in Ventura California for years.
We like the original colors of Smyrna Green on brown and the gaps and panels do look good. More rare than a cabriolet for less money. Find this car here on eBay with heavy bidding well under $20K
