1963 Renault Caravalle Convertible
Seller says this is a 1963 Renault Caravalle convertible. Hardtop and softop. 63K orig miles. Chrysler Dealer had in private collection. Runs fantastic! Brakes will need work, they lock up when pedal is pressed. Really nice interior, softop is worn. The car is super solid, one average repaint years ago. Nice tires, and hubcaps. Glass is good, windshield has one chip. Visors are excellent! Bumpers have some pitting and should be replated. Very nice underneath, front trunk area is very clean and original. This car looks better each time I look at it! If it does not sell, it will be repainted. Easy restoration, or drive and enjoy!
One of the BarnfindsAndDeals staff had one of these in high school. Yep, he’s old. At the time it was one of the few sporting cars around. It couldn’t hold a candle the the vastly superior 356 Porsche in any way, hence sold poorly. Rare then and still rarely seen. It will never be at the head of the performance curve for value but a cool little car never the less. Find this low mile car here on eBay for the starting bid of $4,500. Good value if it can be obtained close to that. Could be a low mile buy.
