Vintage 1973 Porsche 911 HotRod
Seller says one of a kind Porsche Hot Rod built in the early 90’s. This Speedster was designed by a NorCal designer in the 80’s to convert a staid old 911 into a modern speedster. My donor car was a 1973 911 Targa built by Dion Sportscars with a 26 piece carbon reinforced body bolted/bonded to the original 911 chassis. Car was built to be featured in the magazines to promote as a body kit to be sold for those who were tired of the ugly porsches being built in the 80’s and early 90’s.Windshield cut/slanted 4″,chopped folding top.Recaro seats/interior covered in gray leather,1990 3.6 Liter twin plug engine,WEVO 915 trans with RSR carbon clutch,B&B stainless Turbo 4″ exhaust, Turbob oil cooler with fan Racing Dynamic forged alloy 17″ wheels with Pirelli P-Zeros,etc. I have owned this car since 1988 when I sold my ’55 Speedster. 45K miles since 1994. Always licensed, driven maybe 15 times a year. Very fast 300 HP/2200lbs.
Ugly Porsches built in the 80’s and 90’s. We guess that if you took the trouble to build this car you would be disdainful of a nice SC or 993. This car has been for sale for quite a while. Do you think we wishes he had his ’55 Speedster back instead of this car?? Find this car here on CL out of Mendocino CA asking $35,500
